Meeting #3 | On the Path to Gender Equality: Feminism and Intersectionality
With International Women’s Day on March 8 coming up, we would like to talk about the real challenges and achievements shaping women’s lives. Feminism provides a perfect framework for this, allowing us to explore the social, political, and cultural movements aimed at achieving gender equality.
In this meeting, we will discuss the core ideas of feminism, its historical development, and current changes, drawing on both empirical data (such as big data studies) and modern theoretical frameworks (such as intersectionality).
We invite you to read selected literature or bring your own texts and join a discussion about the challenges, ideas, and inspirations of feminist movements.
