Mitmachen Flinta*-Schreibgruppe | Flinta* Writing Group

Die Gruppe richtet sich an Schreibende, die sich als Flinta*s identifizieren (Frauen*, Lesben*, Intersex*-, nicht-binäre*, Trans*- und Agender*-Personen). Das Format ist am Modell von „Shut Up and Write“ angelehnt und besteht aus einer Eingangsrunde, in der sich alle Teilnehmenden vorstellen und ankündigen, was sie in der Schreibrunde schreiben wollen; einer ca. 90-minütigen Schreibrunde, in der alle still für sich an ihren Projekten arbeiten; und einer kurzen Abschlussrunde.

Gegenseitiges Vorlesen oder Feedback ist nicht Bestandteil dieser Gruppe. Es geht darum, zu einem festen Termin für eine bestimmte Zeit in guter Gesellschaft am eigenen Projekt zu arbeiten, kurz: es geht um Rechenschaft. Idealerweise konzentrieren sich alle während der stillen Schreibrunde auf das angekündigte Projekt und lassen sich nicht von E-Mails, Textnachrichten o.Ä. ablenken.

Alle Formen von Schreibprojekten sind willkommen, aber auch Zuarbeiten dazu, wie zum Beispiel Recherche. Die Gruppengröße ist auf 10 Personen begrenzt.

This group is for writers who identify as ˮFlinta*“ (a German acronym meaning women*, lesbians*, intersex*, non-binary*, trans*, and agendered* persons). The format is based on the model of ˮShut Up and Write“. We will start with a short introductory round where everybody introduces themselves and announces their project for the writing session; one writing session of about 90 minutes where everybody works quietly on their own project; and a short closing round.

It is not part of this format to read our work out loud to each other or to give feedback. The point is to have a set time and place to work on one’s own project in good company. It is basically about accountability. Ideally, everybody concentrates fully on their project and minimizes distractions like mails or texts.

All sorts of writing projects are welcome as well as work preliminary to writing, like research. The size of the group is limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
