Both the Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek and the Berliner Stadtbibliothek have a disabled accessible entrance and disabled toilets.
At the Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek, please use the main entrance at Blücherplatz. All departments and the borrowing area are accessible there at ground level.
A disabled toilet is located next to the photocopying centre.
The Children’s and Youth Library is located on the basement level, and also has separate, disabled access situated in the small park between Blücherplatz and Zossener Strasse. There is also a disabled toilet there.
At the Berliner Stadtbibliothek, disabled access is available on Breite Strasse, to the right of Door A, which leads to the foyer.
An elevator in the atrium provides access to part of the upper level.
The Senatsbibliothek Berlin (Berlin Senate Library) may be accessed via the library foyer (using a platform lift).
The “Kleiner Säulensaal” events room on the ground floor is accessed via a portable ramp at the entrance at Breite Strasse 36.
The Berlin Studies area is located on the first and second levels, and is accessible via the elevator.
Disabled toilets are located on the ground floor of the Senatsbibliothek, and on the first and second level of the Berlin Studies area.
For events in the Berlin-Saal and Saal-Foyer rooms, please register at least 4 days in advance by calling +30 90226-661.
Two disabled parking bays are available outside the main entrance/foyer of the Berliner Stadtbibliothek at Breite Strasse 33-34.
