Albert Dresdner was born in Breslau on June 1st, 1866. He was a historian, art critic, writer and art historian. In national-socialist Germany, he was persecuted as Jewish. In 1933 he was forced to retire on the basis of discriminatory laws. Albert Dresdner died on December 22nd, 1934 in Berlin.
