Allgemeine Infos

We hear more and more about ethical business and the responsibility of entrepreneurs,
business leaders, and company managers in solving social problems and strengthening
democratic structures.

What can companies really do in this field? Where does the responsibility of businesses toward
society lie? What is the connection between company culture and democracy? How authentic
can the role of business in democracy truly be? Can companies or business leaders take on
some regulatory roles traditionally held by the state? And what are the best practices in Berlin?

We will explore these questions with our guests in an interactive discussion, involving the
audience and engaging in small group dialogues.

Please join us on the 19th of February at 5:30 PM in the Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek PopUp
Saal.

WahlheYmat Talks is a monthly discussion series focused on renewing democracy. Together with guests and the audience, we discuss different perspectives on how democracy in Berlin can be made accessible to everyone and adapted to the digital age.
