Luise Zickel was born on 25 October 1878 in Breslau. She was a teacher in Berlin. In 1911 she founded a Private Girls' Higher School ("Höhere Privatmädchenschule") in Berlin-Schöneberg, later "Private Higher School for Boys and Girls and Jewish Elementary School".
